Description

The current IRDAG insert() method signatures take as an argument a utility vertex (e.g., StreamVertex, SamplingVertex, MessageBarrierVertex). However, many of the utility vertices simply serve as a wrapper of several variables.

It might be worthwhile to consider changing the method signatures to directly take as arguments the variables themselves.
