The logic found in

http://maven.apache.org/shared/maven-doxia-tools/xref/org/apache/maven/doxia/tools/DefaultSiteTool.html#274

May need to change to not call getRelativeFilePath because it is likely causing the issue:

[DEBUG] Mapped url: scm:git:https://github.com/trajano/coding-standards.git to relative path: ..\coding-standards.git

It should just leave the mapping as scm:git:https://github.com/trajano/coding-standards.git
