Description

Uploading a SNAPSHOT version artifact to a repository that is not configured for snapshots (like the default internal repository) does not lead to an error.
The message indicates that the artifact has been successfully uploaded.

Artifacts uploaded and saved on Server side.

However the repository is now in a non recoverable bad state and when one tries to browse to the uploaded artifact an error message is displayed:

managed repo is configured for release only

At that point it is not even possible to delete the erroneous artifact.
