[MNG-6215] 'mvn --encrypt-password' doesn't prompt in Git Bash

Description

When I try to encrypt a password with mvn --encrypt-password in the Git Bash, I get no prompt like in the windows command prompt. Instead I get some empty curly braces {} (see screenshot).
