Deprecate ununsed CLI options for plugin registry

    Description

      AFAICT, the options -up, -cpu, -npu are only relevant for the plugin registry and hence unused/superfluous. Hence we should update the CLI help to declare them deprecated and probably also output warnings in case they are used to allow users to update scripts or CI jobs that refer to them.
