Description

setting this makes it impossible to have "no setting", that is, to trust the umask on the server. This also means that if files on the server are not owned by the user, deploy fails because the mode can't be set.

wagon 1.0-beta-3 has fixed a number of long standing issues with file permission setting using scp that were part of the impetus for this change, though it proved ineffectual in the end.
