Cleanup/document warnings as part of build

    Description

      There are a number of warnings that are generated with a default build. Many of these can be addressed by us in our codebase. For those libraries that we are not interested in modifying, we should cover those items that are warnings such that users who wish to build will know which items are accounted for.
