Story Points:3
There are at the very least two reasons to update.
- We will be able to get rid of patches for Windows build https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MESOS-3394 and a huge number of other patches, and will switch cmake build to building glog with cmake on Linux/BSD (now it uses autotools under cmake!)
- The microseconds patch introduced in https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MESOS-9687 will still remain, but at least there will be no backported microseconds patch.
