Eliminate extra process abort in a subprocess watchdog

    Description

      `abort()` is called in `SUPERVISOR` hook when child process exits with an error code, or `waitpid()` fails, or parent process exits. All these cases shouldn't lead to abnormal program termination with coredumps.
