Description
The advantages of the new implementation are:
- It has linear run-time complexity because sorting of data is avoided
- Consumes less than half random numbers (min(n,m) instead of (n+m))
- Allocates less memory
The speed-up can be verified using the testTwoSampleMonteCarloPerformance() unit test. Here is the output on my machine of the test using the old monteCarloP() implementation
