Description

The src/performance hierarchy appears to obsolete. The many configuration files in src/performance/cpp/xml are carried over from log4j, but they don't appear to be used there either. It would be better to do any necessary performance testing under the src/test framework. For log4cxx 0.10.0, it seems best just to remove src/performance entirely.
