I am unable to find proper documentation for Log4j2 xml configurations.

Can any one help on the below ?

What is the need for define "strict-="true" ? in the configuration element.
If define strict="true", how do declare elements in the strict format. So where do I find the documentation for this ?

I was testing simple configuration for "RollingFile" appender. I couldn't find appropriate structure for the elements, i had "strict=true" in the configuration.

I am little confused, need to know which is the right way of configuring elements ? Can you advise.
