    Description

Apache Pekko is a fork of Akka. Lightbend, Inc, the owners of Akka changed the license to a Business Software License.

The code was not granted to the ASF but a new team is building on the last Apache Licensed code to provide a maintained Apache licensed alternative.

We've had discussions about the correct license headers, etc for the source code. One thing that hasn't been discussed is the web site. https://pekko.apache.org is a work in progress but the docs are generated in the same way the Akka ones are.

The text was largely written by the Akka developers with help from OSS contributors. Pekko team are rebranding the docs and making some changes but we probably still need to acknowledge the Lightbend/Akka origins of much of the text.

Should the Pekko pages have a copyright like this?

Copyright © 2022-2023 The Apache Software Foundation, © 2011-2022 Lightbend, Inc. Apache Pekko, Pekko, and its feather logo are trademarks of The Apache Software Foundation.

Or should we not have the Lightbend part?
