    Description

(This might be the wrong place to contact, but I wasn't sure what else was best to ask.)

I use the Apache License 2.0 for many of my projects but I have been asked if the Apache Foundation is cultural appropriating the term Apache from the Native American tribe.

So I ask, does the Apache Foundation use "Apache" with permission from the appropriate Native American Tribe(s)?

I'm not particularly familiar with any of the nuances of this, but any details about this would be appreciated.
