    Description

I'm managing the DMAP-11 donation for the DeviceMap podling, see also http://incubator.staging.apache.org/ip-clearance/devicemap-openddr.html

The donated code is licensed under GPL + LGPL.

The grant [1] says that we're granted a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to sublicense the code, among other things - my legalese skills are too poor to judge if this means we can change the license on that incoming code ourselves, or if we need an additional statement from the code owner to do that.
