Description

When constructing a proxy for remote peer to perform a RPC, DNS resolution is performed. It would be great to add metrics to measure how much time the DNS resolution takes. That information could be provided by :

• a histogram for DNS resolver times
• 'standard' cache metrics for the DNS resolver cache
