Description

It would be nice if Kudu supported some form of user-defined functions (UDFs) for use in scans. These could be used for custom comparisons, or for comparisons between multiple columns (rather than between columns and constant values).

Impala supports both Java-based and native UDFs. We could explore doing something similar, or an approach with an IR like Weld.
