Description

cd40d1c5126d0fd541d95370cdb2998b60f2f82c added a call to sasl_set_mutex, which ends up as part of our client code. If we're embedded in an app like Impala this can cause a conflict with the app's sasl initialization code. See https://issues.cloudera.org/browse/IMPALA-4497
