[KARAF-7004] Karaf shell exits immediately upon login

Description

As soon as I run the client binary it says "logging in karaf" and just exits after that. I have been running commands in karaf shell like this as a hack

client list|grep -v "Active"

 

Please find the logs I see in the shell with this this ticket. I am on Karaf 4.2.x
