    Description

      tests:

      • compatibility
      • upgrade (follow the existing upgrade pattern)
      • make sure we don't get stuck in rebalance loops (eventually get to some agreed generation, verify we don't trigger more rebalances after agreed generation)

      acceptance:

      • verify the partition assignment is correct
      • verify that Streams returns to processing
