Description

When a release is finalized, we send out an email to announce the release. Atm, we have a template in the wiki (https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/KAFKA/Release+Process). However, the template needs some manual changes to fill in the release number, number of contributors, etc.

Some parts could be automated – the corresponding commands are document in the wiki already.
