        I think it has been fixed and added into trunk.
        However, I'll keep this open for reviews.

        Fixed.

        Also, the node types to create are configurable by preference.
        For example, the page navigator portlet can have the following preference as comma separated string value:

        <preference>
        <name>manageableNodeTypes</name>
        <value>.psml, folder, .link</value>
        </preference>

        Unless the above preference is not configured, then the default values is ".psml, folder, .link", which means all those three types are creatable in the page manager portlet.
