Description

Package org.apache.jena.shared.uuid is very old and no longer has much use.

The only advantage of package org.apache.jena.shared.uuid is that it has a factory for version 1 UUIDs.

Using java.util.UUID is better. If version1 UUIDs are required, then library that create them as JDK UUIDs is better.
