Description

The original MediaWiki from OpenOffice.org was transferred to the ASF and it has started to receive heavy use by the community.
Some project members would like to see it updated to a newer release (1.19.0 or at least 1.17.4) so that some newer extensions can be installed. The instructions for upgrading seem to be straightforward:

This could also be a good opportunity to move media wiki to a FreeBSD jail. If there is a need for help I (pfg@) would volunteer to help as I am a FreeBSD user and the port is readily available:
