I see the following in my /var/log/messages after starting Impala via CM:

Feb  5 15:00:51 systest-centos64-tpl-tpl statestored: Could not find keytab file: : No such file or directory
Feb  5 15:00:51 systest-centos64-tpl-tpl catalogd: Could not find keytab file: : No such file or directory

Here is the CM-generated state_store_flags file:

-state_store_pending_task_count_max=0
-state_store_port=24000
-enable_webserver=true
-webserver_port=25010
-state_store_num_server_worker_threads=4
-log_filename=statestored

I asked Henry about this, and he suspects it might be SASL logging the message to the wrong place (i.e. it's not getting to the Impala logging framework).
