Description

Currently, a CTAS cannot be used to create an external Kudu table. We should consider changing that behavior so that we make CTAS behave consistently in all the supported storage engines (i.e hdfs). The user can workaround this by doing a CTAS to create a managed Kudu table and then run an ALTER TABLE statement to make the created table external.
