Description

We have a single generic error message for scratch write errors that doesn't hint the admin towards the solution: "No usable temporary files: space could not be allocated on any temporary device"

We could improve this by looking at the error code and reporting a more contextually-specific error message, e.g. "Scratch directories are full." if the error is ENOSPC
