    Description

      IMPALA-3268 extended Frontend's API of GetTableNames() such that GetTableNames() could return the matching tables whose table type is in the specified set of table types. With this change, it should not be too difficult to extend the SHOW TABLES statement such that SHOW TABLES could display only the tables of a specified type (v.s. all types of tables). It would be great to have this functionality.
