[HOP-2086] When transforms are selected, clicking on the canvas should only clear the selection and not bring up the context menu

Description

When selecting steps, after I get done aligning them or moving around, I often find that I try to clear my selection by clicking on the canvas, which works, but then I get a context menu. This is a special case where if the user has selected one or more steps and clicks anywhere on the canvas, the selection should be cleared and no context menu should appear. This would feel more natural.
