Description

When a table with no partitions is being compacted and the user does "show compactions" it fails. The message from the logs is:

org.apache.thrift.protocol.TProtocolException: Required field 'partitionname' is unset! Struct:ShowCompactResponseElement(dbname:default, tablename:orctab, partitionname:null, type:MAJOR, state:initiated, workerid:null, start:0, runAs:null)
