Description

HIVE-2907 introduced a cap on number of partitions to fetch per getPartitions() call and HiveAlterHandler [1] also needs to be refactored as per the new semantics. Otherwise this issue can lead to OOMs on client that does "ALTER" on tables with huge number of partitions
