Description

The Apache Hive 3.1 JDBC driver, specifically the standalone JAR has included the Microsoft SQL Server JDBC driver. A mutual customer may be trying to use their own copy of a Microsoft JDBC driver and the Apache Hive driver. Potentially the JRE will pick up the code in the Apache Hive driver.

What is it included at all and can it be removed going forward?
