Description

S3 Select enables applications to retrieve only a subset of data from an object by using simple SQL expressions.

S3A connector for Hadoop adds an API that aims at supporting S3 select queries. This issue initiates the work needed on the Hive side to create the S3 queries from the projection and filter expressions pushed to TS operators.
