Description

• Clean up and standardize some of the logging
• Change some of logging from STDERR/STDIN to logging facilities
• Little bit of clean up

What brought this to my attention in the first place was a logging message to STDERR in a sea of SLF4J logging during the execution of a unit test suite for another project.
