HBASE-9819 has been integrated to 0.94

Mind verifying whether this is fixed ?

          Then let's wait for HBASE-9819.
If HBASE-9819 is not going in shortly, will you be ok with this simple patch?

          HBASE-9819 proposed to backport HBASE-8372

That would be preferred solution in my opinion.

          We have some options here.
We can either backport HBASE-8372 to 0.94, which probably will solve this problem.
Or I am attaching a simple patch for a 0.94 fix only.

This is the same root cause as described in HBase-8347, which was fixed in HBASE-8372.
But HBASE-8372 was not put into 0.94.
