• L&N not entirely accurate, IMO. They state that things are included in the src release which are not. I think it would be more appropriate to push the relevant information down into src/main/apppended-resources for each module (e.g. hbase-shaded-protobuf would have src/main/appended-resources/{LICENSE,NOTICE}) which have the relevant L&N content for the products being bundled. Thus, we'd have nothing in the 3rdparty L&N which reflects the src release.
