docs should include instructions for running Canary in pre-1.3 versions

    Description

      as of HBASE-15066, the docs now only give the new way of running the canary tool (`hbase canary`), which works in 1.3+. Since we copy docs back to earlier 1.y releases, we should include a note or something that says how to run via the FQCN.
