Description

This is an umbrella issue for everything that deals with handling deprecated code for the HBase 2.0.0 release.

This was discussed on the mailing list and agreed upon:

• Everything that was already removed in the HBase 1.0.0 release will/can be removed
• Everything that was deprecated in a subsequent 1.x release or in 2.0.0 will be removed in 3.0.0 and only documented as such in 2.0.0
