Miscellaneous usability improvements for ApplicationClassLoader:

• Improve the system class override mechanism: today the override is a wholesale replacement of the default; enable modifying the default
• Improve handling of addition and subtraction of system classes: today it is sensitive to order
• other miscellaneous improvements that make using ApplicationClassLoader easier
