Description

Erasure Code is a very important feature in new HDFS version. This JIRA will focus on how to extend EC to support multiple types of EC acceleration by C library and other hardware method, like GPU or FPGA. Compared with Hadoop-11887, this JIRA will more focus on how to leverage POWER Chip capability to accelerate the EC calculating.
