      Description

The Guacamole Docker image supports MySQL, PostgreSQL, and LDAP via environment variables and/or Docker links, but does not provide for custom authentication or theming extensions, limiting the usefulness of the Docker images to stock deployments.

The Docker image should be modified to support arbitrary configurations, including custom extensions.

Current work-in-progress is on the "docker-guacamole-home" branch of my GitHub fork. I have defined the following additional environment variable:

          Name Description
GUACAMOLE_HOME The directory from which the image's internal GUACAMOLE_HOME should be derived. If specified, the contents of this directory will be copied into /root/.guacamole/ just prior to auto-generating the configuration.

Arbitrary base configurations can thus be supplied by mounting a local directory within the image (using the -v option for docker run), and pointing GUACAMOLE_HOME at that directory.
