[GROOVY-9895] Groovy Shell - Multi-line not working properly

Description

My understanding is that groovy shell should reset the line counter back to zero when a muli-line entry has been succesfully enter.

 

However a copy and pasted with correct matching brackets does not end multi-line mode. Stuck entering code with no evaluation, no errors and the only options are either :clear or Ctrl-C.
