Description
The sample code on the website writes its own main() using Configured/Tool inheritance as in pre-GiraphRunner days, does not indicate that (at least for new users) the -if and -of command line options allow one to use preset IO formats, or really go into any of the up-to-date API stuff.
The whole page needs an overhaul and an example vertex implementation blow-by-blow that concentrates on just writing a Vertex (subclassing one of the easy implementations like EdgeListVertex etc.) and running it at the command line with the prewritten IO formats.
This would make Giraph seem so much more approachable for new users to try out than it does right now.
