Description

Right now the CLI and JSR-88 deployer clients only work if they are embedded in a Geronimo installation tree.

There should be a smaller package you can install on a client PC that does not require a full Geronimo installation, but still lets you deploy to remote running servers. It needs to include the CLI client, the JSR-88 client, the JSR-88 DConfigBeans for all module types, the basic kernel interfaces and remoting infrastructure (or suitable replacement), etc. Ideally, it would be just one JAR.

There probably ought to be some effort spent a separating the offline distribution and packaging features from the online deployment features, so the package discussed here wouldn't depend on the system module.
