    Description

(This occurs under AIR, I'm not sure if it happens in plain SWFs).

      Steps to reproduce:
      1. Select a textfield, giving it focus
      2. Use an alt-key combination (e.g., Alt-F to open the file menu on Windows)

      Actual Results:
Text is entered in the selected field (Alt-F enters a "6", Alt-D enters a "4" and so on) – this can overwrite selected text, or just enter text in a blank field.
The File menu is opened as expected.

      Expected Results:
No text should be entered in text fields, The File menu should open (on Windows).

      Workaround (if any):
None known (other than ensuring users don't select a text field when using keyboard shortcuts – hard to do with 20,000+ users).

You can see this in action in our application (www.youneedabudget.com/download) in any place where you can enter text. It also shows up in Yammer's desktop app (www.yammer.com) and HipChat's desktop app (www.hipchat.com)
