[FLEX-26239] Can't select first item using the keyboard

Description

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the ComboBox with the mouse.
2. Push the Down key on the keyboard once.

Actual Results:
The first item in the list is selected, but only in the background. The textInput isn't updated and the ComboBox isn't updated to display the selection.

If I move the selection down further, using the keyboard, and then back up to the first item in the list, it still isn't updated in the textInput. Instead the second item remains in the textInput.

Expected Results:
I expect the first item in the list to be selected, but it isn't.

Workaround (if any):
None!?
