Description

There is no way to specify different resolution bitmaps for the splash image so that the SplashScreen displays the one that best matches the current device dpi.

Work-around - always use a high-resolution bitmap and one of the splash screen scale modes. This however won't work with scaleMode "none" when the bitmap is simply centered on screen.
