I'm having problems with the version of mxmlc that came packaged with the mac Flex Builder. I have mxmlc in my PATH and FLEX_HOME is set to:

/Applications/Adobe Flex Builder 2 Plug-in Beta/Flex SDK 2

When I run mxmlc I get the following error:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Flex
Steps:
1. Run MXMLC

actual results:

Help information or a compile if i pass it an mxml file
