[FLEX-17401] Setting default textformat doesn't apply

Description

Steps to reproduce:
1.On RichTextEditor (or any TextArea), change defaultTextFormat (example : color to red).
2.Enter some text

Actual Results:
TextFormat doesn't apply to new text

Expected Results:
TextFormat should apply to new text (example : caret should be red and entered text should be red)

Workaround (if any):
Enter text, select it later and change format.

Nota :

I didn't see this bug on Windows.

Also, it doesn't happens with previous air versions on Linux. Using Flexbuilder Linux, there isn't any bug. But after a release build of the applicaiton has been installed, the bug occurs (air version 1.5.0.7620)
