[FLEX-14263] Alert- Shows me Flex error

Description

Steps to reproduce:
1.On click event of a button, call an Alert, When alert pop's up, press Esc, and press Space bar, Alert pop's up again.
2. Doing for 3 to 4 times, I am getting a flex error

"TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
at mx.controls::Alert/mx.controls:Alert::updateDisplayList()[E:\dev\3.0.x\frameworks\projects\framework\src\mx\controls\Alert.as:750]
at mx.core::UIComponent/validateDisplayList()[E:\dev\3.0.x\frameworks\projects\framework\src\mx\core\UIComponent.as:6214]

3. After this error the application hangs.

Actual Results:
Application hangs.

Expected Results:
It should be consistent in displaying the Alert
